Happy Halloween, Minnie Mouse!

Makenna dressed up as Minnie Mouse for Halloween. The original plan was that she would be a ghost, but we decided late this week that it wasn't going to work. On Thursday night, I came up with the Minnie Mouse idea and on Friday we MADE the outfit. Brad and I were pretty proud of our craftiness and it turned out really cute!

Keeping Busy!

Makenna has been keeping busy the past few weeks. Two weeks ago she had visits from her family in Kentucky - grandma came up early in the week and then her cousins came to visit at the end of the week. This weekend we went to Columbus to help my mom rake leaves.

8 Weeks!

This week Makenna has been very interested in her playmat. We can definitely tell that she is growing. Every week she is getting more and more interested in us and her surroundings. This week she has laughed and smiled a lot!

7 Weeks!

Makenna was seven weeks old yesterday. Today she had a check up with Dr. Yoder. She is now 10lbs 2oz and 22 3/4 inches long. Very long and lean! She also got three shots today, which was terrible for both of us. She did not like it at all and I felt so bad for her. Below are pictures from the last week. Enjoy!

Here are some pics from the last week. We're starting to notice that Makenna is paying more attention to things around her. She's looking at the mobile on her swing, starting to reach for toys, and focusing on objects on the wall. We're hoping to borrow a play mat from our friend Susie soon - I think Makenna will love it!

Check out these glasses - hilarious! I bought these for her in the baby section but they are obviously waaay too big! She definitely takes after her mommy in that she does not like the sun in her eyes.

One Month Birthday!

Makenna is now one month old!


Brad bought Makenna flowers and a cake for her one month birthday! He is such a thoughtful daddy. (We ate the cake for her). She was so surprised. :-)
